REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CITY OF NOGALES PLANNING AND ZONING / BUILDING DEPARTMENT

The City of Nogales Planning and Zoning / Building Department is soliciting proposals of qualified professional services to develop a City of Nogales Street Atlas.

Scope of Services:

• Develop a City of Nogales Street Atlas using the current addressing grid and address numbering system.  The City of Nogales will provide the current City address map in an electronic format.

• The Street Atlas is to be formatted on 11 X 17 pages and is also to be in an electronic format compatible to the City of Nogales CAD software.

Deadline for proposal submittals to the City of Nogales is 3:00 pm, MST, of Friday, May 2, 2008.  One (1) original and two (2) copies of the proposal with consultant qualifications, technical information, references and the proposal fee are to be submitted to:

Submittals may not be faxed or electronically transmitted.  Submittals received after the deadline will be returned to sender unopened.

The City of Nogales reserves the sole right to evaluate the proposal submitted, waive any irregularities, evaluate and select the firm or reject any and all proposals.  The City of Nogales may contact the identified Project Manager from each firm during the review of the proposals for additional clarification or information.

The proposer is entirely responsible for all costs associated with the preparation of the proposal.  The City of Nogales will not reimburse the selected firm for any work relative to the Scope of the Services prior to the execution of a contract and a notice to proceed  letter is received by the selected firm.
