2009 State Planning Awards
"An award program for recognition of outstanding professional, student and lay contributions to the field of planning."The Arizona Chapter, American Planning Association recognizes and encourages outstanding achievements that contribute to advances in the planning field. Awards will be presented at APA Arizona's Annual Conference in Prescott Valley, October 15, at the Awards Ceremony. APA Arizona is seeking entries meeting the overall and specific criteria in all the categories described in this brochure.
DEADLINE
Deadline for receipt of all entries and accompanying materials will be Monday,
June 22, 2009 by 5:00 pm. Any application forms or supporting material received
after this deadline will be returned at the nominator's expense. Hand delivered
and mailed entries must be received at the street address below by 5:00 p.m. Monday,
June 22, 2009.

JUDGING
All candidates will be evaluated by a panel of judges from around the state who
are members of the Arizona Chapter, American Planning Association's Awards Committee. All submittal
contacts will be notified following a decision by the committee.
