Historic Downtown Prescott September 28 - 30


CONFERENCE SITE

The 2005 AzPA conference will be held in the beautiful mountain town of Prescott, which boasts the historic Courthouse Plaza and Whiskey Row. The Hassayampa Inn will be the headquarters for the conference, and is located at 122 E. Gurley Street, the northwest corner of Gurley and Marina Streets.

CONFERENCE SESSIONS

Conference sessions will be held at the Hassayampa Inn, Hotel St. Michael and the Elks Opera House–all within a convenient fresh-air walk of only several minutes. Comfortable Hassayampa Innfootwear is recommended. Downtown Prescott is a festive environment with a unique past and many sights to see. Between sessions observe how a vibrant downtown functions with its historic centerpiece, the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza. Experience a higher state of mind in our mile-high city’s cooler temperatures and clear, deep blue skies!

TRANSPORTATION


Prescott is approximately 90 miles north of Phoenix. Take Interstate 17, merge onto State Route 69 west via exit 262 Cordes Junction/Prescott (follow for approximately 30 miles). Bear to the left when you cross the bridge over State Route 89. This will place you on Gurley Street, which leads you directly downtown in only five minutes. PARKINGConveniently park your vehicle in the Hassayampa Inn’s parking lot across Marina Street while you register. Then, you may use the city’s new parking garage on S. Granite Street behind Whiskey Row, or the many street parking spaces. Please take care to note that spaces within one block of the Courthouse Plaza have a two-hour time limit.

 

REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION DESK

The registration and information desk will be open at the Hassayampa Inn during the following days/times:Wednesday, September 28, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.Thursday, September 29, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.Friday, September 30, 9 a.m.- noon

CONFERENCE CANCELLATIONS/REFUND POLICY

Advanced registrants unable to attend the conference are eligible to receive a full refund by sending a written request no later than September 21, 2005. Refunds will be issued following the conference. Registrants who are unable to attend may appoint a substitute.
